The Client Wanted
A successful chauffeur and airport taxi service, they were changing their booking system and wanted full integration with their new website – for ordering and customer account management, as well as to boost their marketing performance. They wanted to scale up to grow their business.
The bespoke booking system had an API, but was completely designed for a call centres and not for the website user, so we had to reinterpret the interface for online making it both interactive as well as responsive to mobile device users.
We also attached the online ordering so that they both received an email alert for the booking being taken online as well as the payment being processed and reconciled within their ordering system. Finally, we attached all bookings and web forms to their email marketing systems so that emails can go out automatically for both transactional requirements as well as marketing.
Then we Added Some ‘Special Syncapt’ Sauce
Invited to add some value, we also offered some other solutions to help with the performance of the business. So the client also gets: tooltips and prompts on the website to invite a call should their booking criteria need a conversation, order view so they can recall previous orders and amend as well as using these as templates for further orders (if a journey is repeated, for example) and account alerts to help identify clients where the booking number or value has dropped off to prompt a direct customer contact or call.
